You all have undoubtedly heard that one of the best dubstep artists Skrillex has made it in 5 Grammy nominations. He got nods in categories such as Best New Artist, Best Dance Recording, Best Short Form Music Video, Best Remixed Recording, and BestDance/Electronica Album. For a few dubstep diehards it can be upsetting as most of them don't accept his style being characterized as dubstep. While it can be correct, he is not nominated for dubstep, but instead he is nominated for dance and electronica. So while you may hate it, he may certainlybe the mainstream discovery that the genre demands to accumulate popularity.

Oh what is that? ....you don’t want dubstep to be bigger? …….Too late

Dubstep is huge, and it is definitely going to get bigger. With many of the new collaborations expected of this, I think we sit back and enjoy the ride. On that idea lets take a little ride down Skrillex road and view some of his best dubstep songs.

Back in the day, not in the Digital Mystikz days, rather just a few years back Sonny Moore dropped a hit on the genre with his first EP titled Bells, followed up with Gypsyhook in 2009. Check out a tune from Gypsyhook titled Mora -

Screech forward to 2010 when Sonny Moore changes to Skrillex and his EP named My Name is Skrillex makes a splash that covered the entire continent of Dubstepia. This is a song from My Name is Skrillex called the same -

Later in 2010 Skrillex releases Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites with the same titled song bringing in more than 47 million views at the time of this article on YouTube.
